Briccio SANTOS is a painter, director and a writer, known for his films Manikang Papel ‘Damortis’, Ala Verde Ala Pobre. He chaired the Film Development Council of the Philippines for six years (2010-2016), establishing the first national film archives during his tenure. He continues to exhibit his paintings and has published books on poetry, short stories and photography.
