A film is made up of countless particles — every frame, sound, design and edit plays a vital part. Up close, each element carries its own meaning; from a distance, they come together to form a complete film.

Beyond the screen, creators and works from across Asia are like these particles, meeting through cinema. Different languages, cultures and perspectives reflect this year’s theme, “Together on Screen, Together In Dream.” When we gather before the same screen, these particles become light — and through that light, dreams are seen.
