LIU Lei is an independent film producer and curator with extensive experience in Chinese independent cinema. She has worked in curatorial, film distribution and film fund management roles, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of the China Film Foundation Wu Tianming Film Fund for Young Talents. Since 2019, she has worked as an independent producer, with credits including A Road to Spring (2019), Everything (2023), Growing Apart (2024), A Broken Man (2024) and The Most Beautiful Day of Life (2024). Her projects have been selected for and recognised at international film festivals including Busan, Moscow, Beijing, Shanghai and Jogja-NETPAC.
