Cheng Jen-shuo made his acting debut in TV drama Red Woman is Flower (2001) alongside actress Chen Chiao-en. In recent years, he restarted his career by working backstage as a production manager, but never gave up his passion in acting. In 2015, he won the Best Actor Award at the 17th Taipei Film Festival, and was nominated Best Actor at the 52th Golden Horse Film Awards for his role in Thanatos, Drunk. In 2016, he received a Best Actor Award nomination for his role in theTV movie The Island of River Flow, as well as a Best Supporting Actor Award nomination for TV series La Grande Chaumière Violette. As the Student Ambassador of the Asian Film Awards Academy this year, Cheng will devote himself to encouraging and nurturing the next generation of the movie industry.
