The 18th Asian Film Awards Press Conference will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025,at 2:00 PM (Hong Kong Time) and will be live streamed on the Asian Film Awards Academy’s official online platforms.

 

This year’s Jury President and the highly anticipated nominations list for 16 award categories will be unveiled, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best New Director, Best Newcomer, Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Original Music, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound. Special guests are also joining for the first wave of surprises at the 18th Asian Film Awards. The complete nomination list will be available on the Academy’s official social media and website after the press conference, allowing global audiences to instant access to the latest updates.

 

As a prestigious celebration of Asian cinema, the 18th Asian Film Awards will honor outstanding achievements and emerging talents in the industry. A variety of exciting activities will take place before the ceremony, offering cinephiles the chance to connect with filmmakers from across Asia in person.
