Jongsuk Thomas NAM
Jongsuk Thomas Nam majored in RTVF/Communication Arts at the University of Maryland at College Park, USA. He started his film career as an assistant director for the film Jungle Story (1996). In 1997, he joined the Busan Int’l Film Festival, and worked in various positions, coordinating the Kim Kiyoung Retrospective, as BIFF festival coordinator, and Pusan Promotion Plan (PPP) senior coordinator. After working as the general secretary of the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC), he joined the Bucheon Int’l Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) in 2007 and currently works as a festival programmer for BIFAN, and as the managing director of the Network of Asian Fantastic Films (NAFF). He is also a member of the selection committee for Sitges FanPitch (Spain), Udine Focus Asia (Italy), Ventana Sur Blood Window (Argentina), and Asian Film Awards (Hong Kong), and is the curator of After Dark at Jio Mami Mumbai Festival (India).
