Josie LIN joined the Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA) in November 2015 as General Manager and currently serves as its Executive Director. She is also an industry partner with BAFTA for its flagship programme, Breakthrough. She has worked with international film festivals on projects across Asia, encouraging exchanges between Hong Kong and Asian film audiences and professionals to foster an integrated environment for film appreciation and filmmaking. LIN reports directly to the AFAA Board of Directors, led by Chairman Wilfred WONG, and oversees the Academy’s mission to promote the art and culture of film. Prior to joining AFAA, she had over 25 years of management and business development experience in the marketing and banking sectors with several U.S.- and Switzerland-listed companies.
