MAR | ASIAN FILM AWARDS
Hong Kong director Ann Hui was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 6th Asian Film Awards, in recognition of classics such as “Song of the Exile”. Ann Hui, the first female director to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from Asian Film Awards, is widely regarded as a pioneer of the southern city’s New Wave of the 1970s and 1980s.
