The 17th Asian Film Awards ceremony will take place on March 10 at the Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District. The announcement of the special award winners has already generated significant anticipation among the audience. AFA X STI BEST DRESSED AWARD is presented again this year! Two Best Dressed Awards will be presented for the red carpet segment this year. The red carpet appearances of movie stars, finalists, and award presenters are sure to captivate everyone’s attention!

THE SAIL MELAKA X iPANDAS Memorigin Tourbillon watch takes the romantic starry sky city as the background. Adorned with a diamond & backed by the logo of the landmark integrated luxury development project, THE SAIL MELAKA, the iPANDAS panda stands at the six o’clock position and tells time with two hands. The hour hand of the panda has become a cube logo holding the letter “M” to match the theme of M TOWER, while the minute hand is holding a star-shaped magic wand, showing childlike happiness. The watch is equipped with Memorigin’s in-house tourbillon movement, which has 153 components and 25 jewels. It has a 72-hour power reserve and a vibration frequency of 28,800 oscillations per hour.

Asian Film Awards Academy

The Asian Films Awards Academy, a non-profit organization, was founded by Busan, Hong Kong and Tokyo International Film Festivals with the shared goal of celebrating excellence in Asian cinema. Aiming to promote and recognize Asian films and its talents, AFAA highlights, strengthens and develops Asian film industry through the annual Asian Film Awards and several year-round initiatives.

 

The Asian Film Awards was inaugurated in 2007, where members of AFAA are drawn from its past nominees and winners. The category of awards includes Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. Members vote for the Asian Film Awards and participate in various AFAA activities involving film professionals and audiences in Asia and around the world.
