Chan Hing Kai is a renowned screenwriter, director, and producer from Hong Kong, and currently serves as Head of the Film Division at Media Asia Group. With nearly three decades of experience, he has written, directed, and produced a wide range of films known for their versatility in style and genre. 

He won Best Screenplay at the 18th Hong Kong Film Awards for Beast Cops (1998), and received the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Award for Best Screenplay twice—for Task Force (1997) and Jiang Hu: The Triad Zone (2000). 

In recent years, he has been committed to supporting emerging directors. His producing credits include Naked Ambition (2003), Weeds on Fire (2016), Manhunt (2017) abd Love Lies (2024).
