This exhibition adopts a new concept to present the filmmaking process, unveiling important steps from script creation to post-production and shares with the public how filmmakers invest their heart and soul into making a good film. Featured in the exhibition are: a giant script installation art of “Love Lies”, showcasing Ho Miu Ki’s screenwriting talent; edited action scene clips from “Out of the Shadow”, reflecting the power of film editing; the set and props of a laundromat scene from “The Remnant”, highlighting the charm of production design; and storyboard scripts and special effects comparison clips from “YUM Investigation”, demonstrating the process of imagination realization in post-production. The exhibition will be open for free public viewing from 21 September to 3 October at The Starling Mall.

The four talents from Hong Kong will visit Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology for two sharing sessions. In one of the sessions, “Bridging the Gap: from Stage to Screen and Microphone to Film”, will feature actor Ling Man Lung and actress Kay Tse discussing their transitions from music and theatre to film, detailing their motivations and the influence of their past experiences on film performance, providing valuable insights into artistic expression.
