To nurture a new generation of dedicated film events programmers, marketers and organizers, the Asian Film Awards Academy organizes the Student Internship Program in association with the Broadway Cinematheque (Hong Kong) to give film and media related students the opportunities to experience the work environments of film events organization.

 

Duties at Broadway Cinematheque included: write Chinese and English film introductions and synopses, logistics coordination, print traffic and database management, assist in programming, content design and audience development, organize and produce promotional collaterals, assist in fact-checking and proof-reading for BC’s publications, create contents and conduct promotional campaigns on new media.  Duties at the AFA Academy included: assist in annual awards ceremony, assist in events organization, research Asian film cultures and markets.
